birthday deets

Isn't it the worst when people guilt you into blogging about them? Gol.

Well since my roommates follow the new LOVESTRONG blog religiously I decided I should finally dedicate a post to them. Loyalty proven. They deserve this.

I woke up and found a whole love seat covered with "presents" like Christmas morn. Here's a picture but notice the highlights: A slim rite shake, Zac Effron, a tin of my own rice, a princess crown and a roll of duct tape.

A classic coupon book was also included. "Good for one clean apartment during cleaning checks, but you still have to do your part." "Good for 10 toe nail clippings, please use only one a week!"

I went to get ready for the day and found the shower walls covered! I turned 22 and all my roommates are 18-19. Hence all the jabs about being old. My favorite was one that said, "Good thing Wes agreed to marry you, you were running out of time!" For clarification you should also know my roommates call me Randi.

And here they are. These girls make me laugh. Super hard. Thank you for making my birthday morning extremely memorable. And next time freaking take ME to Cafe Rio. And it is a sad day that the only picture I have of you guys is one with a giant creepy bear. And shout out to Dix for being the 3rd person to wish me happy birthday.

A few more pictures from the day.

the big 22

February 19 is so lame. Yesterday was the best day ever.

The day started with a yummy omelet filled with tomatoes, green pepper and onion. I had a heaping mound of hash browns and a freshly blended strawberry fruit smoothie. Courtesy of chef Wes.

At work a huge vase of orange flowers was sitting on my desk, with a big orange card pointing out the fact that I am now indeed older than my fiancee. Courtesy of florist Wes.

Before I headed to my second job, I was surprised with some oh so cute Sundance hoop earrings. I mentioned these earrings were cute about 2 months ago in a random magazine. Courtesy of my personal wardrobe stylist Wes.

For dinner we went to our favorite P.F. Changs and enjoyed two dishes off the completely gluten free menu! Then a quick stroll down the sidewalk we ended at Coldstone for a scoop of Twix ice cream. Seriously the best day ever right?

Sheesh. I hope the rest of my birthdays are as big of deal.
